My daughter is 3. She finally started potty training a in the beginning of the summer. She's not that bad at it. She'll go when she has to but her problem is that she has to go so much. And because she is always having to go potty she is also having many accidents where she finishes up in the toilet. Could this be something I'm giving her to drink that she can't handle? Could she have a weak bladder? Or does she just drink too much?we have 3 other children who are all under 4 years old. the other two girls both went through a phase where they have accidents (like most kids). My son was absolutely perfect since he started. When the other two had accidents it was just an accident and then they would have to go to the potty for a while later. My daughter seems to go every 10 minutes!!

She's just a toddler and learning to use the potty. It's nothing you're doing wrong. Just take her to the potty more frequently to try to decrease the accidents. Kids get so busy playing they forget they have to potty. So until she gets used to using the potty all the time you'll have to take her extra times even if she says she doesn't have to go. Eventually she'll learn.

could be all three. I would try to reduce her drinking a bit. In all reality a child needs only about 10 to 16 ounces of drink a day. I would see if cutting her back a lil will help. I am working with my son. I give him HALF of what he was having before. Like in the morning he was getting 1 eight ounce cup of milk or juice or water with his cereal... I cut him back to 4 ounces of drink. then with lunch another 8 ounces... I took that down to 4 ounces or less. After he uses the toilet after eating, he gets about half of a 4 ounce cup of drink. with dinner depending on when dinner is... he gets either nothing or about 2 ounces of water. he is doing ok with it. im sure he misses his drinks... but he is doing awesome with it. I will readd them when he is better at the toilet. If you give alot of juice or sugary drinks i have heard this makes them wet alot. Children on average need to toilet every 20 to 30 min. even if it is a tiny bit... she should still be trying. Sometimes its morethen they think it is.!Hope this helps!
