No. In fact menstruation can cure a yeast infection because the pH of the blood kills the yeast.

Not necessarily, it is more common with increased heat and moisture, allergic reactions, elevated sugar levels, hormonal fluxes, and reductions in the populations of bacteria that are normally present, activities such as  sexual activity and in some cases the types of underwear change the levels....
