I already got the flu shot a couple weeks ago. I have a fever, chills, cough, and my eyes hurt. Sometimes its hard to breathe normally. I just feel blah. The fever and chills started last night. Is this just a cold?I also have on and off headaches and a runny/stuffed nose.

I really recommend that you see a doctor.A cold doesn't usually get this many side affects in such a short period of time.It could be a late reaction to your shots.

It could be West Nile virus - or parvo - or lime disease. It could also be....heck, who has time to list every disease known to man?I'm just wondering why you are asking medical advice from strangers on the Internet with no medical training or expertise who don't even have the benefit of examining you or running any tests of any sort.I think I'd be much more comfortable asking my doctor or at least a trained medical professional if I was feeling as crappy as you do. Then, that's just me.

I guess it really depends on what kind of flu shot you got. I've given and have recieved plenty of flu shots. And the shots we give in the military have virtually no side effects. Its a myth, and it may be your mind playing tricks. Sounds like you have a cold.. get some rest, drink plenty of fluids (WATER) and get some flu meds for the discomfort, your going to have to wait this one out. Sorry.
