This has been happening for a few years now. I thought it was normal until i asked some of my friend and they said it doesn't happen to them. I don't have asthma or any kind of lung problem. Is anything wrong with my throat? How can I cure this if there is problem? * Also, I love to sing. And I spend many hours of my day singing. Sometimes when I really get into it, I feel like mucus is building up in my throat again and I have to clear it again. Even though it hurts me and I cough a lot after a while. My throat also kind of itches until I can't stand it anymore and I cough. And then I continue to sing. I'm pretty sure its not good for me but I can't help it. :/ Can someone help me? I know people say your throat is supposed to feel relaxed when you're singing. But I don't know how?

Try going to singing lessons, or a voice teacher. (If you can't afford or whatever try Youtube videos) and as for the actual phlegm, have you went to the doctor? You may want to do that.
