I don't understand why I cant just be happyI don't understand why I cant just say what I want toI don't understand why I am always in such painI don't understand where these painful sprees come fromI don't understand why the pit inside of me hurts so muchI don't understand why I cant like myselfI don't understand why I cant cry even though I am in so much painI don't understand why I panic so muchI don't understand why every time I look in the mirror I look at myself like I am an enemy.I don't understand why I have to drag myself through the day every single day.I don't understand why I shut myself out, and think no one caresI don't understand why no antidepressants makes anything any better.I don't understand why I hold on to so many bad memories but none of the good ones.

You are what you think...attitude is everything. Turn that brain to a more positive view of yourself, and eventually, you'll feel a lot better. Some people have so many good qualities about themselves, but they can't find it because they concentrate on their bad ones too much.

All of those are symptoms of depression. What makes you so miserable in your life? I guess that would be the bottom line question. If you don´t have a particular reason it may be a chemical imbalance in your brain, that could be solved with medication.  If there is a reason you will have to work on it. Either way, seek for help.  You don´t have to work this out by yourself.  There are many persons in this world that could help, and some others that feel like you. (I felt like that one day, yet I feel a lot better now), It´s good you are wondering why this is happening, because it means you are looking for a solution eventually.Take care and don´t feel helpless, everything has a solution.You are not alone in this huge world Shocked)Good luck.

I would really like to pray for you.  I am not a bible beating Christian or anything like that.  I have felt all of these things before.  I was a cutter as well.  God really, truly can heal these pains, as impossible as it may seem.  Email me if you need to talk.

I dont know you so I can't answer wholly. HOWEVER, studies have shown exercise cuts down the feelings of depression and anxiety. Hit the gym. Get some hormones flowing. You'll feel like a million bucks. Here's where to start:Be physically active for 20 mins every other day for 8 weeks.

I think you need to surround yourself with people that love you and appreciate you for who you are deep inside.  Although the past may be awful, think of the best times of your life.  Maybe having a vacation from everything around you would be better.Stop thinking that you are depressed, that only makes it worse.If you don't have anyone or anything that does care for you, maybe adopt a pet, they will love you know matter who you are.All in all, do what you want to do, not what others are forcing on to you.  Change your life to the way and path you want to have.
