I've notice that I get big, red, painful pimples around my chin and forehead. I don't get the little ones all over my face like a lot of people.  Does anyone know what causes this? What is the best acne treatment for these specific bumps?

Acne is caused by bacteria. Try using lemons. Lemon juice contains citric acid which kills the bacteria that causes acne. Dab the juice directly on the outbreak with a cotton tip. Open the pores first with steam or a hot bath.

Those big ones are deep under the skin's surface, and they are the worst, aren't they? Make sure you wash your hair everyday, it's probably oil from your scalp that is causing the ones on your forehead, and try not to touch your chin cause your hands have a lot of dirt and oils too. Wash your face everyday and use some sort of cleanser like clearasil antiseptic wash.

it's just what happens. some people get big ones, others little. i dont suggest using yahoo! answers to get the best treatment for your zits because everyone have diff. skin types. you need to visit a dermatologist ASAP. they will inspect your pimples and give you the right treatment. for now, just wash your face twice a day and if u follow my advice and visit a dermatologist, DONT use any zit medicine before you do. because it's bad to change zit medicines a lot. but what may also help for now is in the morning after you wash your face use an astringent. it helps it's not like treatment but it helps. also, facials help too. liek acupuncture facials. they hurt, but it's not excruciating and it helps A LOT. it resurfaces pimples from under the skin and you just put zit medicine on them and most go away. i got one and my face was clear for a month. (or at least pretty clear)good luck and VISIT A DERMATOLOGIST!
