I'm serious, I haven't make even a hint of a bowel movement in 3 weeks, 2 days now. I have been to the doctors and they're rude, they won't give me the help that I need. Is there anything I can take, any foods that I should eat to help me irrigate my bowels? I'm starting to cramp, and obviously that's not a good sign. The cramping is only occasional, and I don't feel any pain.I feel no discomfort , only some minor  bloating, and I don't get why.I'm starting to become really concerned for my wellbeing.This is important, and very few people are helping me and disregarding it because I'm not acting sick or bloated. I REALLY need your help, I just don't know what to do anymore, and don't say please see a doctor, because I've already done that and they've failed to help me. I have acid reflux, but I don't know if that is connected to constipation at all.I still eat and I still get hungry, I eat about twice a day. And don't say "but you REALLY need to see a doctor!" because I already know this and have asked for help and they've just passed me off as a casual constipation case. 3 weeks isn't casual or normal, and I need all of the help I can get. PLEASE HELP ME.

Eat a bunch of greens. This happened to me when I was younger. Eat greens, prunes work, or you could try flaxseed powder.

YOU NEED LAXATIVES AND FIBER IF YOU AREN'T GOING TO SEE A DOCTOR.

Well, you can try eating a hole jar of olives in one sitting. Made me shit my pants once, they're a natural laxative. The green ones of course.

Drink eight glasses of water a day, take a 30 minute walk every day, and take a stool softener (Colace) every day.  If you don't have a BM in 3 days then you must go to the doctor.  A bowel obstruction from poop that is stuck in your colon can make you very sick and could even kill you.

have you tried eating foods high in fiber?try this for a couple of days,-just eat a lot of whole grains (whole wheat bread, oatmeal, whole wheat pasta..brown rice..)-drink plenty of green tea-eat plenty of apples (lots of fiber) & bananas-eat an unbelievable amount of spinachthat should work..

try drinking magnesuim citrate, you can buy it over the counter without a prescription, if that is not effective, try a fleets enema (it is prepackaged and ready to use)....senna tablets can be effective also. Change your eating habits, more fruits and veggies, prunes or prune juice can help if constipation seems to be an ongoing problem, make sure you are drinking plenty of water on a daily basis

This website gives you a list of all foods that you can eat that are high in fiber. High fiber cereals like Grape nuts are a pretty good source. Or you may just need a colon cleanse. Either way, good luck.

i suffer from anorexia and an effect of eating little to nothing is severe constipation. i find 30 grams of reduced calorie bran flakes, plain, without milk or any type of liquid helps me go. or the skin of green apples or potatoes.
