My 4mth old son was just recently switch from Axid to Prevacid for Acid Reflux. The prevacid doesn't seem to be helping much. He is constantly fussy. HE wasn't like that on the Axid, but before any medication he was. Anyone else prefer one medication over the other??

How long has he been on the Prevacid?  It takes about 10-14 days for it to really kick in. I have a 6 month old with reflux, been on prevacid since he was 3 months- zantac & axid didn't help much. Certain meds work for better some and not for others though.

I'm on prevacid myself and it has worked wonders for me, everyone is different though. it didn't take long for it to start working wither it was right away. Just be sure to tell your dr. and see what he/she thinks.
